Our Mission
We believe basketball is a platform for something greater, and that something greater is Jesus Christ.
Since 2013, Colorado Lightning has been dedicated to teaching student-athletes about Jesus Christ through the game of basketball. We provide a professional, organized, and fun experience focused on mutual respect and personal growth both on and off the court.
What Sets Us Apart
Competitive year-round youth club basketball program
Focus on teaching basketball fundamentals, not just running plays
Latest proven teaching techniques to build high-IQ, skilled players
Practices held in the North Denver Metro area at Adams 12 schools and The Courts
Serving communities across the Denver Metro Front Range Region
Emphasis on learning, developing values, and implementing skills in games
We play to win, but winning is not our sole indicator of success. Our focus is on developing high-IQ players who can read and react rather than simply follow scripted plays.

Why Donate?
Provide Scholarships – Your donation helps cover registration fees for players in financial need, allowing them to participate in training, games, and tournaments.
Fund Essential Resources – Contributions go toward gym rentals, tournament fees, and training equipment to enhance player development.
Build a Stronger Community – Support a faith-based basketball experience that teaches young athletes valuable life lessons both on and off the court.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a lasting impact on a child’s ability to play, learn, and grow in the game of basketball. Donate today and help us provide opportunities for families in need!
Thank you for your support in keeping our program accessible to all. Together, we uplift, empower, and inspire!
