ABOUT US.
Since 2013, Colorado Lightning has been a ministry that is dedicated to teaching student-athletes about Jesus Christ using the game of basketball. Colorado Lightning is a competitive year-round youth club basketball program that is focused on teaching boys & girls how to play basketball instead of running plays. Using the latest and proven teaching techniques we build teams and players up layer by layer so that they have the highest IQ and skills on the court. We hold practices in the North Denver Metro area at Adams 12 schools and The Courts. Serving the communities of: Broomfield, Thornton, Northglenn, Denver, Erie, Westminster, Lafayette, Arvada, Louisville, and Commerce City.

We build physical technique and fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting and defense through innovative and competitive basketball drills. But we also use sportsmanship moments for high school preparation to develop strategy and critical thinking. Our basketball club team athletes learn to apply determination gained through hard training when facing future obstacles or competitions, too.
By unlocking each young player’s promise, not just talent, our youth basketball program helps them discover their inner champion.
